Under 6 years old with a failed element or thermostat: repair it. Past 10 years, or leaking from the tank seam: replace it — a leaking seam never heals, and the flood costs more than the heater. In between, we give you the repair price and the replacement price side by side and let the math decide.

Can you really install today?
For standard 40/50-gallon electric tanks, usually yes when you call in staffed hours (8am–10pm daily). Unusual sizes or gas conversions may add a day for the right unit.
Why do your prices include more than the big-box quote?
Florida code requires pans, T&P discharge, strapping, and permits — items teaser quotes add after you’ve committed. Our installed price includes them up front.
Is it worth looking at tankless while mine is dead?
If your hot-water outage is an inconvenience, yes — conversion adds a day but ends the tank cycle for ~20 years. If you need hot water tonight, the tank wins. We’ll give you both numbers either way.
