30 Seconds That Save Thousands: Your Main Shutoff
Find it before you need it: usually at the front hose bib, in the garage, or at the meter box by the street. Turn clockwise until it stops. For a water heater emergency, also flip its breaker (electric) or set the gas valve to “pilot.” Every minute of flow is drywall — shut first, then call (754) 256-3630.
Members skip the dispatch fee and the line — and get the annual inspection that prevents most 9pm calls.

Are you really not 24/7?
We staff live dispatch 8am–10pm every day — and we’d rather tell you the truth than sell you a call center. Overnight messages are triaged first thing; active-flood callers get the earliest window on the board.
What counts as an emergency?
Active leaks you can’t stop at a fixture valve, sewage backing up, no water to the house, gas smell at a water heater (leave and call the gas company first), and burst supply lines. When in doubt, call — triage is free.
How fast can you get here?
Trucks stage across Broward and Palm Beach from three offices; active-water emergencies jump the queue. The dispatcher gives you a real window on the call — not a “sometime today.”
